EYE TUMOURS

Very specialistic techniques are absolutely necessary for the surgery of eye tumours.
Tumours of the eye in the very young- RETINOBLASTOMA and generally in people of middle ages or older - MELANOMA. Both are deadly if not diagnosed and treated in time.
Symptoms- Mainly loss of vision or part of the visual field (shadow in your field of vision).
In very young children, initial symptoms are often squint.
Although these symptoms do not often indicate a tumour of the eye they must always be examined minutely to determine the underlying illness or disease. |
